The Revelation has apprised the Member of Parliament (MP) and Karnataka State Secretary of the Bhartiya Janata Party – Capt. Brijesh Chowta and the Deputy Inspector General of Police and Commissioner of Police - Mr. Sudheer Kumar Reddy, Indian Police Service (IPS) about deterioration of law and order in Mangalore City.

The matter pertains to spike in repeated incidents of fleecing – demanding one and a half times more fare against the concluded fare published on Auto Meters, Uber and Ola Cab Aggregator Application (App) and openly refuse to operate in the City if not surrendered to their blackmailing tactics.
The Revelation has requested the MP and the IPS Officer to issue directives to the people in the public interest to be aware of unethical behaviour of such drivers and initiate strict action against them.
The Letter can be read here.
