Sensitization and Training Programme for Special Judges under POCSO Act held in 2022
‘The Revelation' has discovered a notification issued by Gauhati HC dated 3 August 2022 for imparting “Sensitization and Knowledge Training Enhancement Programme” that was held in the Judicial Academy, Assam for the Special Judges under POCSO Act from 11 August 2022 till 14 August 2022.

Notification for the training session conducted in 2022 can be read here.
"Are these repeated training sessions conducted for Judges to enhance their learning curve and apply POCSO Act principles or to contravene such stringent provisions of the law. Hon'ble CJ Mehta must pass strictures against the alleged corrupt Special POCSO Court Judge for granting bail, abetting the accused to escape from the clutches of law and contravening the stringent provisions of POCSO Act. Conducting training programmes for Judges seems to be an eyewash. Hon'ble Supreme Court should also initiate strict action against CJ Mehta for letting off the errant Judge as ignorance of the law is no excuse" says Mumbai based litigant Manu Bhai Hargovandas Patel.
Why isn’t Gauhati HC exercising its Constitutional powers to expel the errant Special POCSO Court Judge condemned for granting bail to the school warden for raping 21 school children, in contravention of the stringent POCSO Act remains to be answered by Chief Justice Sandeep Mehta.
