Indian origin Artificial Intelligence (AI) researcher Suchir Balaji's family in San Francisco, United States is leaving no stone unturned to bring their son's sudden and tragic death to a logical conclusion.
In a series of tweets posted on X, Balaji's mother Poornima Rao is unable to come to terms for untimely losing his beloved son and now pleading for justice.
She reached out to the Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi today to seek the intervention from the Ministry of External Affairs.
In a shocking revelation, she says "Medical Examiner’s office in San Francisco is ignoring all the evidence and covering up the matter. Balaji’s apartment was ransacked, sign of struggle, someone hit him in the bathroom based on blood spots. We demand FBI investigation."
Given the circumstances and series of events, The Revelation was perhaps the only newsroom for reporting this news on 14 December without calling out the incident to be a 'Suicide' as declared by the San Francisco authorities including the Police.
Balaji was found in a pool of blood in his apartment in Los Angeles on 26 November last
year after blowing a whistle against his erstwhile employer - OpenAI for alleged copyright violations.
It remains to be seen if the Indian Government will intervene in this matter, however The Revelation will continue to follow-up with the Indian PM Narendra Modi and the Ministry of External Affairs.
