A shocking incident of sexual assault of 21 school children by a school warden in East India State Arunachal Pradesh State has led to disturbing ramifications all across the world

Despite, an amendment made in the Special Protection of Children from all Special Offences Act (POCSO) to make it more stringent for the accused, the Special POCSO Court Judge, Yupia in the Papum Pare district, Arunachal Pradesh granted bail to the accused in contravention of the said act.

The entire episode of first granting bail to the accused Yumken Bagra by the trial court judge and later, the bail order getting reversed by the Gauhati High Court (HC) Chief Justice (CJ) Sandeep Mehta reflects a deep systemic lapse in the Indian judiciary.

The let off incident of the trial court errant judge by the HC has caused resentment and agony among people in society.

The Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani is silent over the sensitive issue and failed to respond to multiple attempts made by 'The Revelation' to seek her views.

In a recent debate held in the Indian Parliament, Irani was criticised for maintaining silence over the shocking incident of four women from marginalized community, paraded in naked condition and one gang raped on 4 May in Manipur, a State in North East India.

In response to the accusations made against Irani in the Indian Parliament, she was seen worked-up and agitated in response to such accusations.

"This is happening time and again that the Women and Children Development Minister is not concerned about such sensitive incidents occurring in the country and when she is questioned, she starts shouting as seen in the recent debate held in the Indian Parliament" says a West Bengal resident, Satakshi Roy (name changed on request for fear of reprisal).

Three emails sent to 11 official staff employees of the Women and Children Minister's office went unanswered. Out of which, only two emails were bounced.

Irani belongs to the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), led by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

'The Revelation' on behalf of people in India, will continue to question the Women and Child Development Minister.
